Goats Prefer Cal-C-Fresh Oral Gel is a mineral-rich supplement designed to help maintain normal blood calcium levels in goats around the time of kidding. Administered orally, this easy-to-use gel delivers essential vitamins and minerals that support calcium balance, especially important before and after birthing. Directions:
Use on every goat before and after kidding. Administer 30 cc at the first sign of kidding and another 30 cc 12 hours later. Repeat after an additional 12 hours if needed. If the initial dose is missed, a post-kidding dose is still beneficial. To administer, hold the animals head slightly elevated and place the gel on the back of the tongue. Allow time for the animal to swallow. Do not feed to animals without a swallowing reflex.
