Rx Neopolydex is an ophthalmic ointment used to treat conditions involving inflammation (swelling) of the eyes and to treat or prevent bacterial eye infections. It contains neomycin and polymyxin, which are antibiotics that stop bacterial growth, as well as dexamethasone, an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid that reduces swelling. This medication is designed for bacterial eye infections only and requires a valid prescription from your veterinarian.

Directions:

To apply, tilt your pets head back so they look upward, then pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch. Gently squeeze a 1/2 inch strip of ointment into the pouch and close the eye. Apply as directed by your veterinarian according to the instructions provided on your pets prescription.
