This bit has a curved mouthpiece and copper oval link to reduce the “nutcracker” action and to alleviate pressure on the tongue and bars of the mouth. By preventing the “nutcracker” effect, this mouthpiece is not making contact with the roof of your horse’s mouth which will keep your horse more calm and comfortable during your ride. This allows for a more effective communication between the horse and rider and allows for relaxation and salivation. The fixed ring of the eggbutt offers a consistent contact. This is a mild bit designed to create less pressure than a standard French link mouth. Made with stainless steel with a copper oval link.
