DIRECTIONS: The recommended initial period is four to six weeks; however, some dogs may respond sooner. The number of Cosequin DS chewable tablets may then be reduced to the maintenance level. The chewable tablets may be fed directly or crumbled and mixed with food.

• 10-24 lbs.:
  • Initial 4-6 Week Period: 1 tablet daily ( in the morning & in the evening)
  • Maintenance Level: (Under 10 lbs. – tablet daily) tablet daily (tablets are scored)
• 25-49 lbs.:
  • Initial 4-6 Week Period: 2 tablets daily (1 in the morning & 1 in the evening)
  • Maintenance Level: 1 tablet daily
• 50-100 lbs.:
  • Initial 4-6 Week Period: 3 tablets daily (2 in the morning & 1 in the evening)
  • Maintenance Level: 1-2 tablets daily
• Over 100 lbs.:
  • Initial 4-6 Week Period: 4 tablets daily (2 in the morning & 2 in the evening)
  • Maintenance Level: 2 tablets daily

Once a consistent response has been seen, these maintenance levels may be reduced to every other day. The maintenance level can also be used long-term on healthy dogs to help support their joints.
