Cystophan from Protexin provides high-level support to cats and kittens suffering from urinary disorders. Normal healthy bladders have a layer of glycosaminoglycan (GAG) coating them. This layer protects the bladder from direct exposure to urine. Urine activates sensory nerve fibers which the brain perceives as uncomfortable. Cystophan helps to support and preserve the protective glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer of the bladder. L-tryptophan helps create serotonin, the happy hormone. Maintaining good urinary health is necessary as it directly affects the central nervous system.

Usual dosage is 1 cap per 3kg body weight per day in cats and kittens. Caps are chicken flavored for easy administration. Caps can be given whole or opened & contents sprinkled over food.
